For the Best Venison Recipes

An associate of mine has a website that focuses on hunting and has some great venison recipes. So I decided to post one of them here for you. Of course, you can substitute some other ground meat if you like. But I think this is a great recipe for that ground venison sitting in my freezer.

Venison Stuffed Peppers

1 lb ground venison
1 cup of brown rice, cooked
2 cups tomato sauce
1 cup onion, chopped
1 egg, beaten
½ teasp. garlic powder
1 teasp. Worcestershire sauce
6 bell peppers

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut tops off of peppers and remove seeds and membranes. Mix all ingredients except peppers and stuff mixture into the bell peppers. Bake for 1 hour and let rest for 10 minutes before serving. These are delicious and only around 200 calories each! Double recipe for 6 servings.

This one of his favorites of the best venison recipes and a great way to use ground venison. I have friends that are hunters and they usually give me some of their venison to put in my freezer. If you would like all his recipes just go to Best Venison Recipes.
